Breakthrough Infrastructure Bill Passes Senate
Bipartisan support leads to passage of the largest infrastructure investment in a generation, promising millions of new jobs.
In a rare show of bipartisan cooperation, the Senate has passed a sweeping infrastructure bill that represents the largest investment in American infrastructure in more than a generation.
The legislation allocates hundreds of billions of dollars for the repair and modernization of roads, bridges, rail systems, broadband networks, and clean energy infrastructure across the country.
Supporters say the bill will create millions of jobs and position the United States for economic competitiveness in the coming decades. The bill now moves to the House for consideration.
