BREAKING: EL AL EXPANDS OPERATIONS TO 40 DESTINATIONS AND ADDS 9 NEW GATEWAYS INCLUDING BOSTON AND LONDON

Following the reopening of the skies, we are continuing to gradually expand our operations, and next week we will operate flights to approximately 40 active gateways. Nine additional gateways are being added to our network: Tivat (Montenegro), Boston, Krakow, London (Luton), Marseille, Paphos, Rhodes, Thessaloniki, and Sofia. For gateways that have not yet resumed full operations, we will proactively contact customers whose flights were canceled and who are still awaiting reassignment, in order to confirm whether their travel plans are still relevant. Based on this, we will be able to offer reassignment to a nearby gateway where flights are currently operating. We recommend checking your flight status via the “Manage My Booking” section on the EL AL website or app. We will continue to provide ongoing updates on our website and social media accounts.

Buried beneath a hilltop village in southern Lebanon, just kilometers from Israel’s border, the Hezbollah terror group built a vast underground drone facility used to store and launch Iranian-made UAVs at Israeli targets. According to the IDF, troops discovered the site dozens of meters underground, including launch infrastructure and a cache of approximately 50 explosive drones. The discovery highlights the scale of Hezbollah’s military infrastructure embedded beneath civilian areas in southern Lebanon and the group’s growing reliance on Iranian drone technology.
