On June 8, 2024, Israeli special forces rescued hostages Noa Argamani, Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv from Hamas captivity in Gaza. Yesterday, Israeli police released new footage from the rescue operation. The operation was named Operation Arnon after YAMAM officer Arnon Zmora, who was killed during the operation. ❗️ EXPOSED: Underground tunnel network built by Hezbollah in the Qantara area of southern Lebanon. IDF troops located 2 underground Hezbollah tunnels, with a total length of ~2 kilometers, situated ~10 kilometers from Israel’s northern communities. Inside the tunnels, soldiers located a large quantity of weapons, living quarters, water tanks, and equipment for prolonged stays.
Footage shows a Hezbollah explosive-laden drone striking near Israeli troops during the evacuation of wounded soldiers in the southern Lebanon town of Taybeh this morning. The troops are seen firing at the drone before it crashes to the ground.
IDF: 12 KM DEEP RAID INSIDE LEBANON The IDF permits publication: Forces from the Tzabar Battalion operated 12 km inside Lebanon, carrying out a targeted raid in the village of Dabin. The operation focused on a Hezbollah facility that had been preparing for combat against Israel. According to the IDF, more than 20 militants were killed during close-quarters fighting and in supporting airstrikes.
