Lakewood police are actively searching for a group of teenagers reportedly carrying baseball bats after a break-in at a vacant home near the corner of Alvarado Avenue and Pasadena Street in the Raintree area. Residents reported a heavy police presence in the neighborhood as officers canvassed the area looking for the suspects. It remains unclear if any damage was caused inside the home or if any arrests have been made. Authorities are asking residents in the area to remain alert and report any suspicious activity immediately. More updates to follow.
